Attractive silvery-blue foliage on dense, spreading branches in spring turn bluish in the summer. The needles are highly ornamental and stay blue throughout the winter. Creates a colorful contrast  to purple and green foliage plants. It is a relatively low maintenance shrub. It is not particular as to soil type or pH. It is adaptable to both dry and moist  growing conditions, but will not tolerate any standing water.
