'Burgundy Lace' is a graceful accent tree with deeply-lobed, finely-serrated, brilliant burgundy-red leaves that resemble a bottle of your favorite burgundy wine. Leaves usually retain the excellent burgundy color well into summer before turning bronze to green. Bright red fall color. As the season progresses, the foliage turns bronze to greenish and they often hold those colors into November. Best grown in moist, organically rich, slightly acidic, well-drained soil. Protect from strong winds. Attractive bark. Deer resistant.
