Red Flowering Dogwoods have bundles of pink flower bracts atop the branches in mid spring. The pointy leaves emerge burgundy in spring and turn a forest green. The fall foliage is an outstanding brick red color. The red berries from early to late fall attract birds to your yard. The gray bark adds interest to the landscape. Requires rich, well-drained acidic soil. Should definitely be planted in a sheltered location.
