Tradition Azaleas are covered with pink trumpet shaped flowers with red flecks cover this beautiful open airy shrub in mid spring. The dark green foliage emerges light green in spring. abundant clusters of lightly-scented reddish-orange trumpet-shaped flowers at the ends of the branches in mid spring before the leaves. The dark green narrow leaves do not develop and appreciable fall color. It is a relatively low maintenance shrub. This Kurume hybrid is known for its cold hardiness. Ensure the soil is well-drained and highly acidic. Protect for strong winds. Prefers morning sun and afternoon shade. It adds a great texture to the landscape.
