'Ardens' is known for its ravishing lilac-pink double flowers adorned with darker veins in their center. The flowers stand out against the foliage of maple-like, deeply toothed, green leaves. Blooming continuously from midsummer to fall, the flowers decorate the bush until late in the season, a valuable attribute in most gardens. Can tolerate wind and seashore conditions. Best flower production is obtained in full sun. Attracts bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds.
