A showy hydrangea valued for its elegant flowers. This panicle hydrangea features cone-shaped inflorescences of white, sterile flowers that mature to dark pink. The panicles reach up to 6' long and are held on sturdy stems, making them excellent for use in fresh or dried arrangements. The green pointy leaves do not develop any appreciable fall color. The relatively coarse texture can be used to set it apart from other landscape plants with finer foliage. It requires occasional maintenance and upkeep, and is best pruned in late winter. It is not particular as to soil type or pH. 'Berry White' can take full sun and full shade. It is highly tolerant to urban pollution and attracts butterflies and bees.
