Blaauw's Pink Azalea is bathed in stunning clusters of lightly-scented salmon-pink trumpet-shaped flowers at the ends of the branches in late spring before the leaves. The narrow narrow, dark green leaves do not develop any appreciable fall color. Needs rich, acidic soils to ensure success. It is a relatively low maintenance shrub and should only be pruned after flowering to avoid removing any of the current season's flowers. Prefers morning sun and afternoon shade. It adds a great texture to the landscape.
