An outstanding flowering shrub that provides soft color in the summer, when many other shrubs have already completed their bloom period for the year. Large, double, carnation-like flowers with a lovely pink blush are held on upright slender branches with toothy green leaves. A showy specimen and an asset to any garden. Best flower production is obtained in full sun. Can tolerate wind and seashore conditions. Attracts bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds.
