This captivating, evergreen shrub with pink buds to open to clusters of highly-scented, funnel-shaped, white flowers, flecked with sparse green and brown dorsal spotting. The delicate white blooms gives the appearance of clouds; they appear at the ends of the branches in late spring. The narrow leaves remains grayish-green throughout the winter. It requires an evenly moist well-drained soil for optimal growth, but will die in standing water. It is very fussy about its soil conditions and must have rich, acidic soils to ensure success. It is similar in appearance to 'Cunningham's White', but it has broader leaves and denser flower clusters. An excellent choice to mass in groupings as an elegant focal point of the garden. Pollinator plant.
