'Capitata' is a very functional and durable pyramidal yew. It responds well to shearing and can be kept in a tightly pruned form. Light green new growth contrasts with older dark green foliage. Certain parts of this yew can be toxic to animals and humans, if ingested. Can be significantly damaged by deer.
