Cayuga is a compact viburnum that is great for near a patio or entrance. It is a backcross hybrid with Koreanspice Viburnum and Fragrant Snowball Viburnum. Fragrant flower clusters have pink flower buds that bloom white in late April to early May. Deep green, leathery leaves turn attractive red-purple in the fall. Berry-like fruits (drupes) mature to black in late summer.
Attracts birds and butterflies and is mildly resistant to deer. It is a backcross of V. carlesii (Korean spice) x V. x carlephalum (fragrant snowball).
