A stunning native shrub; exquisite clusters of pure white pinwheel flowers in May, abundant brilliant red fruit and good fall color, golden stems; hardy and adaptable, grows quite large, an excellent specimen, selected for superior fruiting habits. The fruits are not only attractive, but good for making preserves. They ripen slightly earlier than other trilobums. May have the best red fall color of any other American cranberry. Named after the farm of O.E. Wentworth near Lancaster, NH where the original plant was found. If you love birds, this is a plant for you.
