Snow white blooms, some semi or double, in mid to late spring. Hardy, handsome, glossy green foliage take on a pleasant yellow fall color. Needs highly acidic and organic soil that is well drained. Prefers morning sun and afternoon shade. This is a relatively low maintenance shrub, and should only be pruned after flowering to avoid removing any of the current season's flowers. Attracts butterflies, hummingbirds and bees.
