​Growth Rate: Medium
A vigorous, dense, multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with an upright, spreading habit of growth. Late bloomer blanketed in lightly scented, single pinkish-purple blooms in late spring (about two to three weeks later than most lilacs) emerge from distinctive purple flower buds. Features pointy, forest green foliage throughout the season turning to a yellow color in fall. It's considered by many to be one of the finest lilacs.
