'English Roseum' is a dense and showy evergreen shrub. From late spring to early summer, it graces the garden with its profuse, large, trumped -shaped lilac rose flowers with delicate orange freckles. They contrast beautifully with the foliage of large, smooth, gloosy, medium green leaves. A very reliable performer. It is easily grown in moist, acidic, well-drained soil.
This is a relatively low maintenance shrub and should only be pruned after flowering to avoid removing any of the current season's flowers.
Prefers morning sun and afternoon shade. Attracts hummingbirds and butterflies.
