Fire Light® is the standard to measure all panicle hydrangeas! Proven Winners developed this easy-to-grow, reliable panicle hydrangea, selecting it for its huge, full flower heads and sturdy, strong stems. Blooms emerge creamy-white and age to a vivid red for lots of summer color. It makes a great cut flower, fresh or dried. This will require regular care and upkeep, and is best pruned in late winter once the threat of extreme cold has passed (it blooms on new wood). If desired, fertilize in early spring with a granular fertilizer formulated for woody plants, like a rose fertilizer. Attracts butterflies and bees.
Fire Light hydrangea is a true show off in the summer garden!
