A great spreading juniper! Incredibly popular, 'Nana' is a compact mat-forming shrub with long trailing branches radiating in all directions. They are densely covered with prickly, blue-green needles, which turn a slight purplish hue in the fall and persists throughout the winter. It has fantastic color in all seasons. This plant needs full sun and open space. It is tolerant of a variety of soils, thrives under adversity, and is easily transplanted, It is deer, drought, erosion, heat, and dry soils tolerant.
