Little Quick Fire Hydrangea is a compact, bushy shrub boasting a profusion of large airy panicles from mid-summer to fall. Held on strong dark-red stem, the blossoms open creamy white, change to pale pink, and then deep pink and lilac as the season progresses. Easy-to-grow plant with reliable flowering and flower color regardless of soil pH. It is even sizeable enough that it can be grown alone in a suitable container. Note when grown in a outdoor containers, it may not perform exactly as indicated on the tag. Also note that when growing plants in outdoor containers and baskets, they may require more frequent watering than they would in the yard or garden. Chances are they will not survive during the winter in the containers and they will not be guaranteed.  It is highly tolerant of urban pollution and attracts pollinators. Blooms occur on new wood, ensuring reliable flowering. Best if pruned back in late winter or early spring. Paniculata hydrangeas can take more sun than other hydrangeas.
