Perfect Time to Plant! – September 21, 2012
Greetings,
Hard to believe that fall will be upon us in a couple of days, but the gardening season is hardly over. There is still so much to do before the cold weather sets in. You always hear that fall is the "perfect time to plant" and there are actually very solid facts to support this statement. First, the ground is still warm enough for root formation and, secondly, the cooler temperatures signal an end to top growth of plants redirecting that growth energy to build a solid root system. This helps to ensure the survival of plants through the winter and gives them a solid head start for strong spring growth. Considering this, enjoy 20% OFF all tree and shrubs for your fall planting as you consider changes and additions to your landscape for next year!
