Larix decidua ‘Puli’ is an elegant alternative to the common Larix decidua ‘Pendula’. When staked, its slender branches create a narrow silhouette that is more dense and lighter green than ‘Pendula’. It is valued in the landscape for its highly ornamental weeping form. It has bluish-green foliage which emerges light green in spring. The needle-like leaves turn an outstanding an outstanding gold in the fall. The rough gray bark and gold branches add an interesting gold in the fall. It is a must have for the collector. Very attractive in gardens with an Asian aesthetic.
