An outstanding flowering shrub that provides soft color in the summer, when many other shrubs have already completed their bloom period for the year. 'Red Heart' is full of large, single, white flowers with beautiful ruby-red blotches at the base of each petal. A showy specimen and an asset to any garden.  Works well as a flowering hedge or screen. Can tolerate wind and seashore conditions. Best flower production is obtained in full sun. Attracts bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds.
