This plant is widely acclaimed as one of the best. Shasta is considered an improved form of Mariesii with larger overall growth, heavily tiered branching and larger and whiter flowers clusters that bloom in May. Red to black fruit in July and deep burgundy fall foliage. The flowers and fruits will also attract butterflies, bees, and birds.
