Another beautiful bigleaf hydrangea in the Endless Summer collection. Twist-n-Shout® Reblooming Hydrangea boasts color all season long with deep pink or periwinkle blue lacecap hydrangea flowers. Not only are the the blooms stunning, the study stems are a vivid red, adding even more interest to your garden. The glossy pointy leaves turn reddish-burgundy in the fall. Like the others, in order to change their color, you add aluminum sulfate to the soil to make the flowers bluer or add lime to the soil to make them pinker. Treatment should occur ahead of time (late fall or early spring). It grows off of old and new wood. Prune to maintain a desired size or to remove any wild branches. Best if done in late summer/autumn after flowering, or dead wood in spring. Attracts butterflies and bees. (Hydrangea macrophylla 'PIIHM-I')
