White fir is a hardy, ornamental, native North American evergreen. Its attractive, soft, blue-green needles curve outward and upward on branches and retains its color throughout the winter. White Firs tolerate a wide range of conditions, including drought, heat and cold temperatures. The upright cones are olive green to purple in color. Prefers rich, moist well-drained soil.
