'Wolf Eyes' is truly one of a kind! It has the beautiful, white flowers of a kousa dogwood but that is where the similarities end. With the white blooms coming out in late spring they are highlighted against a backdrop of unique variegated leaves. The center of the leaf is gray-green, with a bright whit margin that is scorch-resistant. The leaves themselves appear crinkled which gives it a textured look through the entire season. In the fall, the leaves will change to a green and bright pink that borders a darker pink. It features an abundance of red berries from early to mid fall, which the birds will devour. 'Wolf Eyes' kousa dogwood also has a smaller stature than most dogwoods making it a great specimen tree that you can fit into even the smallest of gardens.
